Youtube XML API + JavaScript + Playlist

Over the past few days, I’ve been writing up some code that pulls in a youtube.com feed for a single playlist, generates the thumbs and allows you to click the thumb and fast switch the main video, using a combination of JavaScript and jQuery. The idea has changed a bit, since the code would ultimately need to be cached, so instead will be developed in python, but rather than throw it away, I thought I would store it and share it for anyone who might stumble upon it and like what they see. With a little effort, you can add tab switching of different playlists as well, which I will show in a future post. You can also view the code and any revisions on github. Just look me up.

If you have any questions or feedback on how to improve the code, feel free to drop me a line in the comments below. Your input is always welcome!
